Hijab
Hijab is vary from that of a woman wearing a head scarf, a veil or a loose outer garment. Hijaab, however, in the sense that it has been used in the Qur'an and Hadith, has a far wider meaning. Actually, hijaab is a set of laws governing the interaction between males and females, with rules that must be abided by both. In the minds of most people -even Arabs- that meaning has been lost due to forgetfulness or religious complacency. For the context of this article however, we will say, as most people do these days, that Hijab simply means a reference to the entire modest dress of the Muslim woman.

Why should women in Islam wearing hijab?
Ask yourself, or ask the next person who asks you that question, if a female judge walked into the courtroom wearing a tight miniskirt and low-cut blouse, would you take her seriously? Who would you respect more, a woman dressed like that or one dressed modestly? The holy Quran was revealed for all times, and though circumstances change, human nature does not. The fact is that men do like to look at women, so a woman who covers herself is more likely to be respected as a person than looked upon as a piece of meat or toy.Muslim women wear hijab which is more than just a head cover because Allah ordered them to do so in two places in the Quran, and because Prophet Muhammad also ordered it
what is hijab?
Hijab is a veil that covers the head and chest, which is particularly worn by a Muslim female beyond the age of puberty in the presence of adultmales. It can further refer to any head, face or body covering worn by Muslim women that conforms to a certain standard of modesty. It not only refers to the physical body covering, but also embodies a metaphysical dimension, where al-hijab refers to "the veil which separates man or the world from God”.[5] Hijab can also be used to refer to the seclusion of women from men in the public sphere. Most often, it is worn by Muslim women as a symbol of modesty, privacy and morality.
